Just like My Little Ponies I've loved Care Bears my entire life. I grew up watching the 80's series and movies as religiously as the My Little Pony shows, and ever since I was just a couple of years old my childhood room (now My Little Pony and Care Bears collection room) has been decorated with Care Bears wallpaper :) I never had any Care Bear plushies as a child though, much because I don't think they were even sold in Sweden in the 80's.

This ment my interest in them got limited to the TV shows while the My Little Ponies took over completely in the form of toys etc. and became the main thing I collect these days.

It wasn't untill the early 2000's when the new style of Care Bears were relesed that they appeard in stores here in Sweden. That's when I actually started purchasing both old and new Care Bears and since then my collection of Care Bears have grown slowly but steadily with about a handfull of Care Bear items about every other year or so. And as long as there are Care Bears out there that I don't have this will continue ;)

 

Today my Care Bears collection share a room with my My Little Pony collection because they are as dear to me as my My Little Ponies :)
